delivery services. Irmscher, Inc. now
has the ability to design, build and
finance projects of any scope or size.
We specialize in campus housing,
whether it is traditional dormitory
style, suite housing, or apartment

Asbury
Theological Seminary - Student
Housing Complex
Asbury
Theological Seminary wishing to
design/build a total housing
community for the seminary
students commissioned Irmscher,
Inc. to design/ build this
family housing project of 100
units. It serves a diverse group
of students and families with a
simple elegant site layout
maximizing green spaces for
recreation and fellowship, while
separating vehicular access from
pedestrian areas. The buildings
are brick for a long term life
span, sustainable, and low
maintenance arranged in
clusters. All of the flooring is
bamboo except in the wet areas.
This project covers eighteen
acres.
The 100 family
living units for the married
students are contained in
twenty-six two story buildings.
Each family unit has either a
two or three bedroom layout. All
of the units will have their own
heating and cooling units with
their own geothermal well. The
units are equipped with
stainless steel electrical
appliances that have the energy
star rating.

of Saint Francis – Doermer
Center for Health Science
Education The University selected
Irmscher, Inc. to construct an
innovative health science
training facility that would
blend the simulation of
medical lab procedures with
classroom instruction. The
resulting 72,000-sq. ft.
facility contains traditional
classrooms, a simulated
surgical-tech suite, physical
therapy and occupational
therapy labs, a radiological
technology suite, a continuing
education area, as well as
nursing skills and simulation
labs.

of Saint Francis – New
Fieldhouse and Stadium

of Saint Francis – Mimi and
Ian Rolland Art and Visual
Communication Center Seeking to create a unique and
aesthetically appropriate
atmosphere for artistic studio
space, the University of Saint
Francis selected the Irmscher
Team to renovate and construct
the Mimi and Ian Rolland Art
and Visual Communication
Center. The newly refurbished
31,200-sq. ft. facility
carries a theme of creativity
and realism, containing design
elements such as exposed
ductwork and plumbing
fixtures, stainless steel
panels, large skylights and
unusual wall angles.

of Saint Francis - Student
Housing Challenged by the record
enrollments, the University
opted to meet current needs
and plan for future growth
with the first
three-story building, which
would house about 100 students
in a multiple-apartment style
to be completed within 6
months. Each apartment
is equipped with refrigerator,
microware, ovenette and
tables in a common area
surrounded by multiple
bedrooms.

College - Student Recreation
Center The College selected
Irmscher, Inc. to retrofit the
existing 64,700-sq.
ft. manufacturing facility to
house both weight and aerobics
rooms and a multi-purpose
fieldhouse, which has a
156-meter track, separate pole
vault and long-jump areas,
side court basketball,
volleyball practice area,
badminton court and two
batting cages.

Tri-State
University – Fawick Hall of
Engineering Design and renovation of a
60,000-sq. ft. building to
include all engineering
functions. Due to the
existing building having been
erected in three separate
decades (1920s, 1950s and
1970s),the floor elevations
created a special challenge to
design a functional flow of
students through the building
while complying with current
ADA accessibility regulations.

Tri-State
University - Forman Hall
Welcome Center
Seeking to modernize an
existing building, Tri-State
University selected Irmscher,
Inc. to perform a 7,000-sq.ft.
design and renovation of
Forman Hall, a 1940 brick
structure. Upon
commencement of the project,
Irmscher, Inc. was challenged
to design and construct
additional student interview
rooms that would blend with
the current building.
